On tap at Spotted Octopus Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This smells like clove, chive, lemon, grassy hops, and orange peel.
I absolutely never see white IPAs anymore. This is a really solid take on the style, with a refreshing yeasty and hop-accented bitterness, with that herbal clove thing, some almost juniper like notes, and grassy and orange-y hop goodness.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.
This is a promising start for this (new to Rochester) brewery – I definitely want to try more.
