At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their IPA Mixer 6-pack at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned December 6/24. My 14th beer from the Bracebridge, Ontario brewery, and 4th for 2026. With Sundae the cat...

Pours a creamy looking gold with a rich white head. The nose is definitely tropical. This is a very rich flavorful IPA. It’s a great addition to an already awesome selection of Muskoka Brewery’s IPA arsenal.

Slightly hazy gold with a tall, loose head. Sweet tropical hop nose, maybe some guava. Punchy malt body, very bright and lively. Crisp mouthfeel, a little on the thinner side.

473 mL can from their latest IPA Mixer pack, which I purchased at the LCBO; served barely chilled. Best before Nov 14 2022 (looks like I picked the right day to randomly review this). The ingredients list includes both pineapple and guava purée.
Pours a golden-yellow hue; the liquid itself is rather clear-bodied, but there's so much flocculent sediment that it still looks cloudy at a glance. Situated atop is one inch of frothy, foamy white head that settles off within several minutes, soon reduced to a tight collar and filmy cap - a wavering ring of lace is also deposited. Guava on the nose for sure, but the pineapple is no slouch either - beyond that, I'm getting hints of wheaty bread, as well as peach drink and fruit cup orange slices.
A pretty good fruited IPA - the pineapple flavour leaps out at you right from the get-go, accompanied by hints of guava, melon and tangerine. Bready, wheaty malts are discernible underneath the fruit and hops, which continue to dominate the back end; light hop resin bitterness at the finish, with guava and pineapple fading into a juicy-sweet aftertaste that persists. On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with low carbonation that meekly agitates the tongue, resulting in a soft, smooth, very juicy mouthfeel. Fair drinkability - one can is enough for me, but if you really like tropical fruit, your mileage may vary.
Final Grade: 3.85, a B+. Muskoka's Out of Office Tropical IPA is easy to like, I'll give it that: the pineapple & guava flavours pop nicely, while the underlying IPA has enough oomph to prevent it from being a purely fruit-driven brew. If this were sold as a single, I'd probably pick it up from time to time, but I don't think I'd pick this over Mad Tom.

Sweet, hoppy, and tropically fruity. This is one of the best out of a six pack currently available from Muskoka. Some of the others are too sweet for what they are and its something that just doesn't quite fit. This one does a better job. Seems less sweet because of the fruity character of the beer. Clear and pleasant notes of pineapple and maybe mandarin orange (guava they say). Sternly hoppy without having nay rough edges. The high ABV is nicely hidden away in the beer, but still adds some good background muscle. Delightfully drinakble.

473 ml can from the seasonal IPA 6-pack. Served cold into a tulip.
Appearance - Murky bright peach colored brew with a small fine white head and lots of sediment (or maybe puree residue).
Smell - So much pineapple and guava that it's almost as if there is puree in there. Sweet, intense aromatics and tons of fruitiness.
Taste - Like the nose, pineapple and guava making for a sweet and juicy treat. Candied pineapple as well. Just enough bitterness ta the end to keep things balanced.
Mouthfeel - Lightly carbonated, pretty juice, fairly full body.
Overall - Not a light drinking beer, but chock full of flavor and aromatics. AN impressive addition to this IPA pack.
