Rally Ultra Premium Light is crafted for people who do not slow down and stay the course. Brewed in the heart of Muskoka by a proudly independent Canadian brewery, Rally delivers a clean, refreshing beer experience with just 100 calories and 1 gram of carbs per 473 mL can, so you can enjoy every sip while staying on track.
Light, crisp, and effortlessly drinkable, Rally is designed to fuel the moments between milestones. Enjoy it after the ride, at the dock, or wherever the trail takes you. This is an ultra premium refreshment without compromise. 10 IBU

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 11 2026 and served barely chilled. Rally was a contract brewery that was bought out by Muskoka in 2022. With Muskoka's 2026 rebranding, they appear to have folded Rally into their main lineup, i.e. "Rally Brewing" as a separate entity no longer exists - in fact, their old website now redirects to Muskoka's.
Pours a crystal clear straw yellow colour, producing half a finger of loose, fizzy white head that loses coherence immediately. A thin collar and an islet of film are the only remnants; no lace to speak of. Neutral aroma of diluted cereal grains and a wisp of grassiness.
Slightly more flavourful than some ultra lights, but that isn't saying much. Cereal grains, apple skin and an exceedingly faint hint of grassiness - and that's all she wrote. Mineral water at the finish, followed by a clean, dry aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that makes for a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel; easy to crush.
Final Grade: 3.27, a C+. Let's make one thing perfectly clear: I know I'm not the target audience for Rally Ultra Premium Light. That being said, there are plenty of people buying Michelob Ultra, Sleeman Clear, etc., and even though I'm not one of those people, I understand the financial imperative and/or incentive for breweries to carry a similar 'ultra light lager' in their portfolio. Rally is one of the better ultra lights I've had over the years, but it's still a bland, insipid beer that I don't have much interest in returning to. Still better than a near-beer, I suppose.
