A crisp pale lager with hints of citrus and fresh bread. Brewed with a blend of rice and malt to create a refreshingly well balanced beer.

Received in December 2022, and drunk in August 2023.
L: Light, washed-out, golden yellow. There's a thin rim of head around the edge of the glass, with lots of large bubbles streaming upwards.
S: Soft, sweet malt with a slight tang of sour mash.
T: Taste is dominated by bready, ricey malt with a sweet, macro-lager-like sour mash note. Bitterness is floral and mild. The aftertaste is sweet and malty.
M: The mouthfeel is medium, and carbonation is mild. This one could be gulped down if desired.
O: This has an Australian macro lager taste, especially with that sour mash note that's apparent in the taste profile. However, it is softer and more rounded than its more harshly-contoured macro brethren. There's no reason I wouldn't drink more of these if they were on offer, but there are crisper, more refined lagers that I would also choose if the opportunity arose.
Cheers!
