On tap at C'est What? in Toronto. Apparently being brewed by original Denison's brewmaster at Mill Street Brewery in Toronto. Now called Weissbier instead of Weizen.

An yellow on the side of amber (copper-gold), cloudy with some head that leaves a lace and clings the glass all the way down very nicely.

Smells of grass, banana and some citrus. Very nice.

Has a creamy and heavy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not stout heavy, just right.

Tastes of spice (cloves) and banana, has a slight bitter finish with a spice aftertaste that lingers. All in all, a favourite.

Where is this brew coming from now? Contact information does not click. They are not listed. In any case, C'est What still has it on tap. Our group thought it more of a banana smoothie with a carbonation/yeast, like a yogurt kafir beverage. Nice appearance though.

This ale is better even than the version served at the now departed brewpub. It smells and tastes of fresh bananas and cloves, has just the right body for a delightful summer drink (as far as I'm concerned that's what a hefe-weiss is all about), and leaves a pleasant, lingering aftertaste.

This is probably my favourite dessert beer, bar none.

Hands down one of the best wheat beers i've ever had. Pours cloudy golden with a huge frothy head. Bananas and clove overwhelm the nose in the most pleasant fashion. The mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. Again, fabulous banana kick with a good spiciness of clove and maybe some nutmeg? A wheat beer couldn't be more refreshing. This is a true classic of the style.
