The label is very informative. The beer is thin. It does smell nice. The taste was fizzy and fruity. Might be a fine apres lawn mowing beer. Says it pairs well with Indian food which might also be true

One pint can. Pours gold with a thin white head instantly gone. Some mango in the nose and taste follows with a distinctive tang. Light mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Novel but I won’t search for another.

The pour is carrot colored. The taste is mango, wheat, & a touch of hops. Cheers! B

Cloudy amber appearance
Medium light carbonation with a below average body
Aroma is a pleasant hit of mango fruit and juice, mild grain and earthy in the background
Taste is a bit light but the mango is out front but not nearly as sweet as the aroma suggested.
Its a really well done light easy drinking beer with a nice unique twist

A very pleasant surprise that was a great complement to Indian food. I bought a 4-pack and would like to find it on a regular basis.
I don't remember ever having a mango flavored beer; but this certainly reminded me of mangos, particularly the aromas. Tastes were balanced, not too sweet; unlike the mango lassi. Soft in my mouth, showing off its wheat.
Typically, light lagers are drunk with Indian food; but more for cooling off the mouth from spices. Rupee Mango actually helps the food, plays with the spices... and cools the mouth. Rupee was designed by a master brewer who created this with an Indian chef. It shows.
As a nano, Rupee is brewed at the Dorchester micro. But most unique -- and explaining my high Overall Hugs -- is their whole mission to create a fusion between Indian culture and kitchen in the U.S. Almost like a MBA project, Rupee has 6 Values... all of them good guy practice. A very accomplished website for a nano not even two years old.
10/17/24 Drank the second and third cans with Indian food. Nonstop god pairing.

A very good mango beer. please make year round. The smell was very tropical and reminded me of India. The notes are good to drink in summer and also with food.
