A light ale with it's own distinctive character, named after the Goat Island Lighthouse just up the road in Cape Porpoise, Maine.

At Federal Jack's:

A: clear yellow body with a small ever so slight white head. Fast rising carbonation was seen. Minimal lacing with no rings was observed.

S: some light hops.

T: some caramel and hops.

M: extremely light leads to a superior drinkability.

O: this isn't exactly an outstanding beer, but probably a great one on a beach in the summer or when one comes in after mowing the lawn.

This beer was a pale yellow, with very little head.

The aroma was basically a light aromatic hop scent, no maltiness detectable. No pine or citrus notes either.

The taste was disappointing... like hop-flavored water. No strength to it, body very thin. Very little alcohol too.

This beer was disappointing. Drinkability is OK, if you aren't expecting something outstanding.
