This beer have a big fake mango smell. It also comes out in the taste. It is overly sweet. Light maltiness. Sticky sugar bout feel.
Overall this beer sucks for me because I have had way, way , way , way , way much better mango pale ales!!!!!!!!!

Poured from a bottle into a nonic glass. A hard pour created a large head. First thing I noticed was a strong fruity smell. Overall not a bad beer. Given its low cost, I am tempted to buy it again.

Strong mango tropical smell. Taste is light beer with strong mango flavoring almost bordering on artificial. Not much going on with yeast or hops - really only the one flavor. Light carbonated feel good for hot day. Not offensive but nothing remarkable either.

Pours a clear copper color with a 2 finger width foamy head that mostly dissipates. Retention and lacing are both good, though. Has a strong mango aroma. No denying that. Sweet and pleasing, but that is all you get. Taste is mainly the same. A hint of crackery malts up front with a little bit of bitterness, followed by a strong, sweet mango taste. A little too much in my opinion. Light bodied with moderate to heavy carbonation.

Got to admit that KBC's Mango Pale Ale surprised me. Typically I don't think of KBC beers as particularly good–they're not Old Milwaukee bad, but nothing to write home about.
I might have to revisit that view because their Mango Pale Ale is pretty decent. Out the bottle it has an appealing golden color, with a hint of the scent of mango.
Mild carbonation, with an very forward taste of mangos, and a clean finish. Surprisingly refreshing and probably a great beer on a hot day though what's most important is that it feels like a real beer, and not a novelty.

Attractive golden brew with a splash of suds that don't last more than a few seconds. Light, light body. Totally overwhelmed by the weird perfumey smell. If you say this is mango, then I guess that's what it is. It's more of a Kool Aid sort of taste. A little sweetness. There's a faint bitter ending.
I would stay away from this unless you like crazy flavors, as it's not really offensive. KBC is a regular Trader Joes brand. Since the label says "Kennebunkport Brewing Co." and Portland, Maine, I would think it's brewed by Shipyard, which owns Federal Jack's etc.. From the 12 oz bottle purchased at TJs.
