My girlfriend (from Maine) had her family bring me down a growler of this from Maine. NICE

Appearance: a cloudy yellow with poor head retention

Smell: rasperries...yeast...wheat. the scent is not strong on this

Taste: An excellent natural rasperrry flavor....but the rest is so thin! damn near watery. It was also flat...which probably had much to do with the growler

Mouthfeel: thin as paper

Drinkability: tasty...yet kinda weak.

*Overall Impression* probably would have been better on tap. Look forward to one day visiting Federal Jacks

On tap @ Federal Jack's in Kennebunkport. Straw to golden yellow colored. Thin wispy white head. The nose is full of smile inducing raspberry goodness. Not overly fruity or acidic like other wheat/fruit beers. Taste was pleasantly ale like to start, then a balanced, full flavored shot of raspberries slide by. Really crisp and refreshing finish, with just a hint of fruit lingering on the tongue. This beer was good enough, to get my girlfriend to want to return to Federal Jack's the next day for a growler. We then mixed it with their Blue Fin Stout for a unbelievable creamy rich, flavorful black and tan.
Cheer's to Shipyard and JohnnyP their biggest supporter, count me as another big fan of this brewery.
