Poured into a Seattle Beer Week glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a 4 finger, chunky white head with good retention and abundant lacing. Aroma of pale malt, yuzu and a little mineral. Flavor is pale malt, yuzu and faint summer herbs. Light yuzu rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Pleasant light yuzu flavor, but honestly, not as intense as some yuzu IPAs I've had. There is a mild herbal quality that I can't identify, but it gives this a little more character. Flavor is somewhat subdued, but enjoyable. Like the Mikan I had the other night, dry rather than sweet and a refreshing change from most fruit ales.
