AGARACRAFT limited-time product. Wakayama mandarin oranges, famous nationwide. Among them, the best mandarin oranges are cultivated in the Arita area. The name is because the soft and fresh taste of that unshiu mandarin orange is packed into this beer. Once you try it, you will be satisfied with its taste.

Poured into a Lindemans stange. Pours a hazy golden orange with lots of particulates that appear to be tiny pieces of fruit pulp. Aroma of sweet pale malt, mandarin orange, light stone fruit and fruit esters. Flavor is pale malt, mandarin orange, bitter orange rind and a hint of yuzu. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. The flavor is full of mandarin orange character, but is not as sweet as it smelled; there is a moderate to strong orange peel or zest component too. The finish has dry citrus rind bitterness. The description is of "soft and fresh" unshiu mandarins, which sounds like a sweet ale, but has the nice dry rind finish that is actually a lot more appealing than a sweet fruit beer. I liked this quite a bit. Unlike anything I've had before. Looking forward to the yuzu and sansho versions.
