Pint on cask at Art.17 in Firenze (Florence).
Pours dark brown, murkily opaque. Huge creamy head, almost two fingers. Don't see any active carbonation. Just a tad too light to look like a nitro stout. Smell is Guinness. Nut, roasty-toasty bread. Grain husk, light background of chocolate. Taste is WAY more bitter and dry than nose suggests. Intense roast bordering on charcoal. However, restrained enough to not overwhelm. Mild watery, watered down milk chocolate character. Rich, creamy, smooth, dry. Overall, packs a flavor punch at 3%.
