On tap at Nine Spot Brewing in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemon candy, wheat, brine, and a wisp of campfire smoke.

I really enjoy this one. I haven’t had many Nine Spot beers yet, but this is far and away my favorite one so far. It’s lightly sour, tart, citrusy, and pleasant, with a warming and not overpowering smoke to it. There’s a nice creamy wheatiness to this as well, with a lemony finish that I enjoy.

This is very light bodied, but not thin per se, with a great drinkability.

I imagine this style is not exactly for everybody, but I enjoyed this quite a bit, and am really Nine Spot made this style.
