Chill hazed burnt gold with a tall, airy white foam head.
Similar to the Red Panther IPAs we had yesterday, but featuring a cleaner, more refined bitterness very much in line with the traditional American style, so in this case working well. The malt again gives a hint of almond or amaretto, while the softly crisp body comes to a semi-dry to dry finish.

Amber gold color with quickly diminishing white cap.
Aroma of mildly sweet grain with a light dusting of hops.
Taste is clean, balanced and similar to the Amber Bock styles of Abita, Yuengling or Shiner. Brewery doesn't disclose their grain bill so it would be speculation on my part to guess. Dark color is caramel or roasted grain I suppose but the brew is not over sweet or roasty grain bitter, rather a pleasant combination of something similar to those two. For me it's a single lane road running down the center of American style Amber Ales. A lawnmower/barbeque brew that doesn't challenge the drinker. Should sell well in the Mississippi Delta which has long hot summers where you can literally fry an egg on the pavement.
The brewer chose naming conventions that refer to location. Clarksdale, MS, is the seat of Coahoma County which itself is a Choctaw Indian phrase "Coahoma" which means Red Panther.
