5 oz pour on tap at the brewery in Newark, NY. The description would make one suspect that this will be a sweet beer, and it most definitely is. Too sweet IMO, definitely on the cloying side. Not something I would want a full pour of.

Had on tap at RBBC; then also “draft” again via crowler a few days later.
Very enjoyable big chocolate stout. Rich darkness and full rich tan head with nice lacing and residual halo. Invitingly fragrant and delicious. Full of chocolate goodness.
Would have preferred a bit more body (eg Mortalis styling)…but pretty sure that was not brewer’s intention.
All in all it is a very good pastry stout. Chocolate lovers (like me) will love this.
Another RBBC brew that shows good crafting and promise for more good, interesting beers.
