Visited moderately late on a Thursday night to meet a local beer acquaintance (@davidpet), had a couple beers and took a few to the hotel with me.

It was busy, kind of hard to find seating outside, though there was still some seating outside. Staff was friendly and spoke English well, provided samples and recommendations and talked about their beer.

Beer was good but not amazing, selection was good but not great. They did have some coolers of their own and other beers in bottles in cans to go.

Food menu looked good (if the kitchen wasn't closing and I hadn't already eaten dinner, I would have ordered the fleischkuechle).

Overall, I'd say it's a "Don't miss it if you have an opportunity, but don't feel like you need to *make* an opportunity" kind of place.

Must be one of the better (and few) craft beer bars in Stuttgart, a city with decent and cheap lagers but little innovation. Craft beer is more likely to be found in Munich and especially Berlin. This is an actual brewpub with some unique offerings and several guest taps. Interior is modern industrial and food menu focuses on Mexican food. Great location downtown, too. Can’t go wrong here with anything!
