This one was drunk fresh at the source in June 2024.
L: Crystal clear golden yellow with a thin, creamy-looking, bright white head. Lots of medium-sized bubbles flow up the glass.
S: Sweet malts, some floral hops.
T: Sweet, bready malts, mild floral and citric bitterness. A slight yeasty twang on the swallow. The finish is sweet but crisp. Very smooth for a mid-strength beer.
M: Mouthfeel is full and smooth, exceptionally so for a mid-strength, non-hazy-adjunct-filled beer.
O: Further evidence of the insanity of the Australian beer market that sees a vastly inferior macro-brewed mid-strength beer as our best-selling beer when it doesn't deserve to even look sideways at this beer.
