a pretty basic, refined, and true to style brew, lots and lots of easy drinkers in this place, and as a whole i think we are starting to see some house flavors in here, a non neutral but very minimal, drying, and clean house ale yeast strain, and similar fermentation characteristics in a lot of their beers, not a bad thing at all. this one is light but has some flavor too, yellow and clear and supercharged on the carbonation which always flatters the style in my opinion. rather severely underrated i reckon by the other reviewer here, like the flavors or not, the quality is well north of that given mark, undeniably. this is well north of mediocre. light on the hops as it should be, middle palate sweetness suggesting some corn in the mix, and an almost lagered crispness about it, perhaps a cooler ferment but not dissimilar to many of their others. its fast, excited, and summery to me, with a light clover floral aspect about it and just a little doughy thing going on as it warms. smooth in mouthfeel and slightly frothy but still very light and kind of wispy. well made, if a touch safe, but good beer overall. these guys are off to an awesome start, and the vibe in here is rad. we have really enjoyed our two visits so far!

Taster flight at Berts. Bright golden pour, small ring of white head. Sweet malty aroma, bready. Taste is malty, sweet, light herbal notes. Nice cr amy texture.
