I started my review with Beach Cruiser, a session IPA served at 42 degrees, using a tulip glass. The pour created a frothy and airy two-fingered white head with poor retention. The quick dissipation left no lacing on the glass. It pains me to say this, but this beer has an ugly color. The color is dirty dishwater mixed with a blonde beer. The clarity is clear, with a few lazy carbonation bubbles trickling to the top. The beer's appearance could be more appealing, and I would like better head retention.
Despite the initial reservations about the color, the aromas of the Beach Cruiser are a pleasant surprise. Nosing the glass, I detect a delicate blend of floral, pine, a light candied orange, and lightly toasted malts. While the aromas are not overpowering, they offer a unique and intriguing experience.
Regrettably, this beer falls short of expectations. The taste is different from what I was hoping for, with a hint of rancidity that discourages further sips. The flavor profile mixes musty, dank basement and moldy clothes with floral blossoms. It's clear that something went awry in the brewing process, and I'm confident the brewery would be just as disappointed as I am.
The mouthfeel from that sip was slightly astringent and oily; I could not tell what the finish was. The body is medium-light and has medium carbonation.
If they have it at the brewery, I must re-review this beer.

no surprise they nailed this, this is precisely the kind of beer i expect from them, super clean on the ferment, dry and crisp almost like a lager even though it isnt, and flavorful without being forced in terms of the hops in here. golden blonde and not overly delicate looking, nice carbonation, short white head on top from the tap, pretty polished. the aroma here is grassy and more old school on the hop side than expected, some bitterness seems to be in the mix, and it warms into lemon and orange, but is less dry hoppy than i thought it might be, basic pale two row barley at the core of this it seems, the grain is of little interest here, neutral ferment, tight and clean, minerals in the mix too, earthy, bright, crazy fresh smelling. grassy again in the flavor but not noble hops to me, im just not used to modern hoppy beer not being more dry hop fruity, im into this though, its more traditional in its balance, a less is more kind of thing overall too which i love for this nice spring weather we are finally getting. hints of lemongrass, meyer lemon zest, and white tea to this, clean all the way, almost overly clean. its dry at the end but there is light fresh malty sweetness running most of the way through it, bitterness is restrained but its not nothing, adds to the brisk pace this has, along with the high carbonation, excellent attention to detail in a style that really needs it. i could drink this all day long, all summer long, really good. low alcohol beer without any sacrifices, thanks for this!

Half our at Bert's. Clear yellow golden pour, patchy fine head. Light pine, resinous aroma. Taste balances the hops with deep bready malts, minor bitterness, slightly sticky.
