tasty, slightly hoppy, modern and kind of american in a good way take on kolsch, another easy drinking well refined beer from these guys, which is definitely their thing, perhaps a tad samey when taken down with a bunch of their other beers in the same session, they have a house flavor and vibe to a lot of these, but on its own it would stack up against most other locally made yellow drinkers like this, and frankly it might be at the top, gorgeous beer for the emergent summer weather, and these guys remain on a quality roll, impressive! gorgeous clarity, just super light yellow beer with an airy lasting white head on it, sparkling carbonation, and some lace on the edges of the glass as it drinks, really lovely. aroma and flavor feature a subtle but distinctive, even defining hop element without this being bitter in the least. its like blooming white and yellow meadow flowers, a little lemongrass, and like sweet cicely or something, soft and anything but bitter, but also beyond the normal kolsch range. this does have cold conditioned crispness, stays light on the yeast though, soft lime on the back end almost like a mexican lager strain for a flash, but remains only faintly european, the grain is lighter than most in both body and flavor, but it doesnt feel like anything is missing, its just delicate as these go. effervescent and alive, summery and excited, fresh and popping, drinkable forever, i was super stoked on this, and again on pretty much all the beers on our most recent visit here. this kolsch should stick around, its one of their best, and its not like others. very well done, awesome hop complexion, id love to know more...

Taster at brewery. Pale, clear golden pour, thin ring of white head. Bready, grainy aroma. Taste is biscuity, bready, crisp, smooth. Tasty AF, easy drinker.
