really polished and good, one of the best beers ive had from these guys, which is saying a lot, really impressive, darn good for an american brewery, and one of their few fermentation forward beers over the years, lots of neutral ales and classic lagers in here, so this is a little outside their normal comfort zone. very pale, bright yellow in the glass with mild but consistent haziness, a huge wispy white head several inches tall, and great carbonation, this looks and drinks lighter than most, which makes sense for upcoming warmer weather, which i am stoked for of course, been a long winter this year. nose that is properly yeast driven, and yeah subtle green banana, clove, white pepper, and curiously also coconut and maybe apple to me, but its subtle, way away from phenolic, chill esters in here, fresh cracked wheat flavor, not real starchy or anything, clean and quick as these go, tighter, faster. the flavor is wonderful, creamy banana and wheat together, not all yeast notes, again coconut, like coconut milk to me, adding freshness and brightness, a little starchy but refreshing too, rushing bubbles and drier than a lot of them too which i think flatters it, subtle spiciness from the ferment, soft feeling and really alive, the whole thing is real fresh and intoxicating, different and professional, european more than american which isnt often the case with the domestically made versions, and this was gone awful quick, could have had ten of them easy, i hope they keep this around this summer, its one of their best to date, no kidding, been a long long time since i have been wowed by a beer in this style. grossly underrated by the other reviewer here...

Taster at Bert's. Pale, foggy golden pour, fine, thin white head. Aroma is bready, some yeasty notes. Taste is yeasty, faint banana and an overall thin feel.
