16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear pale golden pour, airy, foamy white head settles down to thin frothy layer. Clean bready aroma, biscuity. Taste is malty, mild sweetness, clea, bready, grainy. Smooth feel with a touch of dryness.

its interesting how these guys keep revisiting the same styles again and again until they finally get it right and then drop the cans, i appreciate that, as much as it creates a little bit of confusion, this differs from their du hast helles which existed awhile back, and in the can is just being marketed as german style helles lager, its really properly done, and overall another hit from berts, who has the quality side of things absolutely dialed in. they have a nice blonde, clear, heady, and well refined specimen here, with a little more german character from the pils type malt and the yeast than i observed in it when it was called du hast, definite tweaks resulting in a more old world authentic take on the style, so well done with its evolution. aroma is a little bready biscuity, fresher than imported german helles but still with a little of that kind of dusty thing going on, light middle sweetness to me and thats there in the taste too, quite light overall as these go, german pils-esque overall really, perhaps a little lighter on the hops, but well lagered to me, clean and simple, authentic, professional, and the flavor is similar, nice white bready notes to the grain, light to medium body on it, soft sweeter cereal center, light noble hops late, familiar but expertly deployed lager yeast, crisp on each sip, even as it warms a little bit, some subtle husk and hull grain character fills it out a little bit as the temperature comes up, but the high carbonation and finishing dryness help it move quick, this is a drinker for sure. love the lower abv, love the refinement, they have this really dialed in and im sure the cans will be a hit here as the weather turns nice! always progress here, its great.
