Pours hazy dark yellow, soft and large head up till the sides of the glass that slowly recedes to dense layer. Aroma is mild banana, yeast, bubblegum - the typical Hefeweizen smell, but it felt rather weak.

Taste is good and fresh yeasty fruity esters (mostly banana), wheat malt. Mouthfeel is average, moderate carbonation.

Overall, a solid, well-made Hefeweizen. Good, but lacks complexity a bit.

This is a nice example of a Weizen. Has a nice bit of the characteristic banana and clove character to it. A great late spring to summer beer. Served on draught, has a nice hazy gold color to it. Tastes a bit tart, with a pleasing amount of carbonation. The yeast flavor is good, not assertive and all the proper components for a Bavarian Weizen are present: clove, banana esters, yeastiness, and of course the refreshing wheat flavor. The beer is made from 50 % wheat malt a bit of light German crystal and bittered with Perle hops.
