Poured from the bottle into a mug.
Straw to deep lemon yellow. Fairly crystal clear with some light carbonation, and slow moving too. Simple two finger creamed head, that settles to a nice puck and thin collar. Pretty basic and solid.
Aroma is quite basic but solid. Simple breaded malts, a little bit of chewy character. Clean. Not much sense of hop aromatics or herbality, but nice.
Palate is a bit neutral though. Muted malt flavors through a very bright and crisp body. Great mouthfeel, with almost champagne like character, but dulls the palate a bit. Not much aftertaste on this either, but a very astringent poor hop bitterness.
Overall, it's another German pils, but this one is kind of ordinary at least from out of the bottle.

The pils is nicely malty with a bit of sweetness to accentuate it. There is just enough diacetyl to be not unpleasant, along with a medium hop bitterness that balances nicely with the light malty sweetness. There is also quite a bit of fruitiness to the pils, which seems a bit out of place in lager. In talks with the owner I have found out the likely culprit of this ale like taste, apparently the lagering phase is only 10 days, and the diacetyl helps to confuse the matter.
