I had this beer on-tap in a shaker pint glass at the brewery. They call this a “Citra session ale”.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: earthy, dry, and kind of with an orange rind character. Not too bad but kind of dry.
Taste: lightly sweet malt with a kind of dryly herbal hop character. It’s a bit pithy. It’s interesting but I think not for me.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: while I don’t hate this beer, it just kinda doesn’t work for me.
