Brewed for the Wetherspoon Spring 2013 Real Ale Festival at a Banks's in Wolverhampton.
Hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons on 8 Apr 2013.
Deep amber body leaning towards ruby in the dimly lite area I was sitting: on top a full head foaming biege coloured head, good lacing too.
Fruity, floral aroma with a malty overtone.
Malty at first with a fruit flavoured middle, slightly bitter hop and dry finish. Strange brew really, a good mix of tastes but not too balanced. Too dry in the mouth for my taste buds but others may rave about it.
Body depth was fine and overall it was OK, but I'll not be having another one.
