Distinctly red amber color in the glass with a modest foam. Malty with a little sweetness. Brewery says this is made with Belma, Cascade and Mosaic Hops. The hop flavor is certainly big. Dark toast with lemon zest and orange marmalade. The sweetness gives way to a dry, bitter finish. Tasty. On tap at the brewery on 30th St.

Apparently Fall Brewing nails the styles, so I was excited to try this, especially for $4 for Happy Hour. Not a huge fan of the style, but I do respect it. Doing a quick review.
Poured a reddish auburn clear color with 1-to-2 of khaki head when I got it. Outstanding lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled Cascade, toffee, light caramel, roastines, light hazelnut, hints of pine and rye. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted toffee, roasty malts, some caramel, nuts, slightly bitter woody notes, rye and flat iced tea. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was a decent beer for the style, but probably wouldn’t have it again. (Overall - 3.75)
