Clean, crisp and refreshing, Stronghouse Brew Pub knows what quenches the thirst and provides a friendly pilsner taste. Their Stronghouse Lager is simply a beer-flavored beer.
Built to celebrate the pilsner malt flavor at its optimal flavor, the lager pours bright straw and teeming with bubbles. After a bright white cap is built, the scent of floral hops and fresh bread swirls for a mildly earthy scent of honeysuckle and grain. Flavors are crisply sweet before drying to a crisp wafer character with subtle apple and lemon fruitiness. Finishing briskly bitter, the late taste is pleasantly grassy, peppery and drying for a short, hoppy aftertaste.
Promises of crispness and refreshment are met and the lager shines with about as flawless of a taste as can be asked of the style.
