Pours dark chocolate with subtle foamy cap at LB Brewery (which by the way has EXCELLENT food including gourmet tacos and sandwich’s and salads). Sting notes of vanilla and cacao make “The Thickening” a really nice Imperial Stout at 10% ABV.

strong vanilla and chocolate, cherry finish. it seems surprisingly light for an imperial. no head and the feel is a little soft. looks dark but still slightly translucent. an enjoyable stout no less.
