Fresh Hop Citra West Coast IPA
We put together this brew with the fine folks at Brujos, utilizing the wondrous expertly cultivated hops from Coleman Agriculture at their Alluvial Farm, the feeling was coalesced on doubling down with Citra across the board on this brew. With 250# Fresh Citra in the whirlpool, and dry hopped with Cryo Citra and Citra T-90, this brew gives off a super dank aroma with flavors of rich P.O.G. juice and citrus peel.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated 10/08/25.
Pours hazy white-yellow with about a centimeter of head. Smell is citrus pith with a hint of a pineapple.
Taste is on the pithy and fruit skin side, some astringent bitterness that makes me think of cut greens, tropical notes are there in a background role.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, airy. Overall, pretty good.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a moderately hazy, light to medium yellow-orange, with a one finger whitehead with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, lemon and catty dankness; a hint of green onion. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit, lemon rind and some catty dankness; solid citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. A very nice Citra fresh hop that has a more wide ranging fruit profile than expected from this hop by itself. The tropical fruit character is more like I'd expect from Citra with Mosaic. Great herbal hop aroma on opening as well as during the drink. Lots of different fruit notes fleeting during each sip and a fine bitterness in the finish. Quite nicely done.
