On tap at the brewery.
Nice looking and typical style. Slightly less head retention and I would like.
Aromas gentle soul lay malty breadiness can be picked up but light hints of floral hops come through as well.
Flavor pops much more than the nose. I A lovely bready base starts off. Mildly sweet but a lovely ride of floral, spicy hope notes really take off here.
Mouthfeel is fine. Light carbonation.

There really is no excitement about this beer: a lavish babe popping out of a cake, or a husky dude running onto the field naked during the 7th inning stretch, it is not. It’s just pretty damn light with zero pop (Juan Pierre style). It’s clean and such, but so is the water I am drinking with this one.
Meh.

Clear pale golden brew with a nice pile of foam in the Faust Weizen glass. Lovely light nose of straw and flowers. Pleasantly prickly on the tongue with a mellow malty note. Just slightly sweet with a crisp finish; not as austere as a Pilsner. Hops are slightly tangy with a bit of melon and resins. The faintest bitter scratch gives it some balance with the malt.
My benchmarks for this style, in the American versions, are pFriem's Helles and Abaddon from Modern Times. This is not quite as elegant but it is so clean and drinkable. From the 32 oz crowler filled at the brewpub.
