Handsome light amber in color with plenty of foam in the IPA glass. Aromas of citrus with something earthy. Sparkling carbonation that enlivens the rather sweet malt. Distinct bitterness, but it doesn't linger unpleasantly in the aftertaste. Flavors of grilled mango and citrus peel. Lemons, orange marmalade, and just a hint of sweet pickles.
This is strong but not overly sweet. Clean and clear. Highly sippable with rewarding flavors. Hops are listed as Pahto, Amarillo, Ekuanot, and Simcoe. From the 32 oz crowler picked up at the brewpub.
