Aromatic notes of malty/milk chocolate sweetness and coffee. Little to no hop profile, very slight spice tones from the noble hops. Flavor is robust grains. Tones of dark caramel, chocolate, and coffee coat the palate. Very light and delicate mouthfeel with a balanced, residual sweetness.

@2beerdogs sent this my direction as part of his ninja strike during NBS BIF #16.
Pours a deep cola brown-bordering-on-black. Initial massive swell of medium brown head. Very wet, and it dissipates almost as quickly as it formed, leaving behind almost nothing.
Nose has roasty malts, with a touch of spice and lightly sweet in the realm of like sweet woods, maybe a touch of chocolate or suuuuper light roast coffee beans.
Flavour has some sweet spiced coffee flavour, and a lot of good deep roast. Some grainy burnt malts as well. It's a bit watery, but the roast comes back to a bitter coffee with the burnt malts.
We had to delay our Christmas, so we're doing it today. Thanks for the accompaniment to our present-opening, Derek!

Some dark chocolate and coffee with a cinnamon undertone. Very light bitter finish with a herbal/floral note showing itself as well. Rather thin with a decent carbonation bite.
