Drunk fresh at the source in January 2024.
L: Deep amber copper with a thin white head. No carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: Dark toffee, tangy fruit.
T: A rich, tangy toffee malt base with burnt brown bread crusts and a fruity, bitter C hop kick.
M: Medium to high carbonation with a reasonable sharp carbonic bite.
O: In a world of juicy IPAs and pale ales, this is a refreshingly bitter - almost acridly so - pale ale.
