We made a 50/50 blend of two-year-old Danish Wild Ale and Stevnsbær cherry juice from Frederiksdal Estate on Lolland, Denmark and infused it with socially responsible whole vanilla beans from Uganda. We blended this with two-year-old Danish Wild Ale macerated with Marselan grapes from Luberon in the Rhône Valley, and aged it all in bourbon barrels for another year. This luxurious beer/wine hybrid is a delicious tribute to the signature agricultural products of these diverse regions.

750ml green colored bottle. Label has this information 'Bottled: 30/03/23 Best before: 30/03/28'.
Pours cherry red but the body color is a dark purple. Fizzy purplish colored foam quickly disappears but the incomplete ring remains very active with rising bubbles. No lacing.
Aroma is a strong blend of red grape, cherry, and oak, with a contribution from vanilla. The fruit tends to cover up any bourbon barrel nose except for the oak.
Taste is dense and tart. Flavors are similar to a oaky, fruity red wine (Cabernet) - red grape, cherry, and oak. Vanilla is present to tone down the sourness. Bourbon barrel emerges as the body warms but never gets too intense. The grape and cherry provide the main flavors. Tends to curl the tongue in the aftertaste and the remnants are oak and the skins of cherry and red grape.
More than medium mouthfeel. Vanilla adds to the smoothness, but the finish is dry. Supportive carbonation.
Superlative blend with cherry and red grape carrying the main flavor load, and the vanilla and bourbon barrel adding nuances to the complexity.
