Raise a stein to our Festbier – a traditional German style lager brewed to fuel annual autumn celebrations. With a smooth bready backbone, lightly bitter floral hops, and a slightly elevated alcohol content, this Festbier strikes a perfect balance between strength and drinkability to keep the revelry rolling.

Copenhagen 16/10 2024. 44 cl can from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Can with diamond shapes in different shades of blue. No happy beer drinkers celebrating October.
Pours almost clear amber with a mid-sized white head- Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty with on a very modest scent of sourish grains. Sweet pale malts, bread, a bit of sugar, corn and a bit of caramel. Sour grains peeking in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and bready.
A bit on the sweet side for my taste buds.
