I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Sumner.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a finger of ivory foam. Seems legit!

Smell: soft and sweet with a nice pear-y aroma. I like it.

Taste: sweet and malty, with hints of the pear/apple orchardy quality I like so much in a tripel, but also with a reasonable dose of booziness. It’s not bad, but just a hair less sweetness and booze character would help a lot.

Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a really nice creaminess indeed.

Overall: I won’t lie, the booziness is an impediment to drinkability here. That said, it’s otherwise a perfectly decent tripel.
