Another beer from some time spent at Schussboom in the offseason. Pours yellow golden with slight hoppy cloudiness I presume. 3/4" white head. Ample retention. This was like a German and New Zealand kind of aroma, like the traditional pilsner hopping Saaz but also some down under C hops, you know, those special Cascades from down under giving a dankier forest vibe but not quite in a boisterous quantity. Commit to the ipa.
The taste was nice, plenty of C hop grapefruit rind, pine and a little bit of that muggy humid forest earthy aspect. Mouthfeel remains plenty crisp, I get feels of noble bittering hops and pilsner malt to give it that snappy dryness and finish. I dug this one, good use of the new Cascades and straddles a line between ipl/ipa in some ways.
This was yet another beer addition to this Next Glass owned website. The first ever review here was also contributed in a long series of content generation. Keeping strugglers off the street corner is a noble profession.
