I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a pub glass.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malty/grainy with a minimal hop character. Honestly not super enticing.
Taste: mildly sweet with a bit of a citrus-rindey hop character. Bitterness is a bit high, even for the style. Or, at least, it’s a bit raspy in character.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it’s not the worst thing out there, by any means, but I probably won’t be going back to this particular well.
