A robust American Stout with big chocolate and coffee flavors and just a touch more hops to balance it out.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a half finger khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, cocoa, graham cracker and a touch of coffee and vanilla. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid American stout with nice chocolate and coffee character and a little graham cracker. As it finishes it has an interesting vanilla licorice note that I don't think is an actual licorice type, but this is what I'd expect to taste; novel and actually pleasant. Flavor is little laid back; this could use a bit more malt depth, but it is drinkable, easy light stout with it's own character.
