Poured a copper-brown body with decent head and some lace patches down the glass. The aroma has notes that are mildly acidic with some pine as well. Beer is medium-bodied, slightly sticky thanks to a large malt presence, but there is also a strong hoppiness that comes across as piney, resiny and even a little dank with some grapefruit. Not what I was expecting as this beer is extremely dry and hopped up with smidges of caramel and grapefruit sweetness and seems more like an old-school west coast DIPA then an amber ale.
