I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a frosty mug.
Appearance: medium amber hue with a finger of ivory-tan foam and a nice lace on the glass. A good looking beer.
Smell: sweetish malt with a bit of a biscuity element. Not too bad.
Taste: malt forward with a bit of sweetness, and also a bit of biscuity character. Biscuit is not my favorite malt flavor but otherwise this is not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: while I don’t love this biscuit-forward malt here, it’s still a solid beer. Remlinger is doing a pretty good job out here in Carnation!
