Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Just picked the can up at the brewery yesterday.
Apeparance: medium golden hue with a bit of haze and a good finger of frothy ivory foam atop that demonstrates good retention.
Smell: lightly sweet with a nice maltiness and a dash of yeasty character. It’s maybe a bit light, but otherwise quite good.
Taste: slightly sweet with a grainier malt than suggested by the aroma. I like the contrast with the aroma; maybe not quite as crisp as your average Kölsch, but I am liking this beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and surprisingly huge creaminess.
Overall: Remlinger continues to surprise me. This is a darn solid beer.
