Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Picked up the can at the brewery yesterday.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a moderate haze and a good finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: a little sweet with good bready and caramel character; it’s nicely malty without getting too biscuity. I’m into it.
Taste: it’s perhaps a little on the sweet side, but it has a nice toasty / caramelly / bready flavor that is really nice. Bitterness is low, but overall it feels like a hearty quaff. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: once again, Remlinger continues to surprise me. A totally solid Märzen.
