(12 oz can, no date/code, foeder aged mixed culture saison, can conditioned; purchased cold single two days ago... decanted into a teku)
L: hazy, pale amber liquid; foam fizzles out upon pour... gets cloudier with dirty dregs finally dumped in
S: honey nut, apple cinnamon chamomile, sourdough bread crust; nutty yeast, hint of diaper... almost a toasted wood pop during early part of pour
T: much of the aromas carry over onto the palate, however, heavier in its malt presence and foresty woodiness compared to its unsylvan table beer base... bready but also tinted with unfiltered apple cider fruitedness in the near background... neither sweet nor dry... honey nut won't abate, mildly tannic-bitter
F: attenuated nectar; little if any carbonation... the tannins seem to strip, stun, and push the pucker: a tease... slight black peppery heat?
O: not as nuanced and varied in its funk spectrum compared to their standard Lynn... this has its own merits... it's more approachable for sure... they're certainly onto something with these (2162)
