I assume this is a Belgian Brown. The 5.0 ABV is emphasized on the label.
Pour is dark brown, filtered and translucent, with a wonderful off-white head.
Aroma is fantastically rich and nutty with some subtle nodes of ripe fruit poking through.
Flavor profile is straightforward, almost British in its brown ale-ness. Nutty malt starts things off, moving to pleasant pengs of fruit and hard water minerals in the middle, finishing with a lively, quenching tang of hops that leaves a nice dryness in my mouth.
