Copenhagen 13/5 2022. 33 cl little chubby bottle from Den Belgiske Ølbutik, Jyllingevej, Vanløse. Green label with an orange rhombus and the name of the beer in bold white letters. The seventies is back in style.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a huge white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense wit a sweet malty odor mingling with yeasty notesand subdued citric fumes. Sweet caramel ad toffee. Humid cellar with a moldy hint. Lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter ad ligers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Quite refreshing and not without the particular yeasty, Belgian touch.
