Tap pour
Pours hazy ruddy brown, white film for a head.
Funky aroma, tart fruit and hints of apple cider vinegar in the nose.
Flavor is of tart cherry, green apple, funky earthy and grassy notes, hints of citrus and vinegar.
Medium body with stinging carbonation and acidity.
I am truly, legitimately blown away by how accurate of a Flanders ale this for an American brewery. It's stunningly impressive. I believe you could pour this, put it in front of an aficionado of Flemish beer, and if they tasted it blind they would have no idea this isn't like a Rodenbach or something similar. This is astoundingly good. I will be coming back to this brewery for this beer whenever it's on tap.
