A hazy and white Hefeweizen, tantalizing the senses with aromas of bananas, cloves, and toffee. Its light body offers a refreshing hint of light sourness, making every sip a delightful experience.

Looking at other reviews, I’m wondering if it’s QC, turnover, or tap line issues. The beer I got was hazy and amber in color, with a modest head and lacing, not at all as pale or straw as expected.

The nose had an orange-like citrusy edge, but some Hefe esters came through. Taste turned that citrusy more acidic. The feel was fine, but I was thrown off by not being very near to style that I really just wanted to post some thoughts and hope that this was an anomaly versus the norm.

16 ounce draft pour into a shaker pint at the brewery.

L: Cloudy vibrant gold, 1/2” white head, moderate retention
S: Banana esters, some wheat malt and hints of orange pulp, some alcohol flavor
T: Big banana flavor, wheaty bread to a lesser degree, light herbal hops.
F: Very crisp, light-medium body, soft frothy finish.
O: Yeast forward, drinkable and refreshing.
