Very hazy orange amber body topped by a thick, creamy tan head. Mild malt aroma with a touch of hops that smells a little "off". The taste is a bunch of malt sweetness with a good caramel note and a fair amount of bitterness. But all the flavors seem to be operating independently of each other. The is no harmony or balance to this beer. It also seems to not be completely fermented out, which is realy weird to say the least. The body is grainy and thin, reminiscent of a really thin wheat beer. I felt like I was drinking gatorade with protein powder in it. Drinkability, well it was drinkable. This is a seroius let down from previous experiences at the Foundry. I will be praying for a rebound in quality. For now, keep on driving to Church Brew Works or Valhalla for some reliable, quality beers with an occasional superstar mixed in.
